By accessing or using the GolfCourseAPI website and API (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and API key and for all activity that occurs under them. Your API key is issued to you individually and may not be shared with or transferred to any other person or organization.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access golf course data through the Service. This section governs what you may and may not do with that data.
Permitted use. You may cache and store golf course data obtained from the Service and use it internally within your own application(s).
Prohibited use. You may not share, redistribute, resell, sublicense, publish, or otherwise make the data available to any other application, product, or third party — whether by offering the data for sale, exposing it through your own API, or allowing another application to consume or access it. The data is licensed for use inside your own application only.
Key-holder restriction. Any cached or stored data that originates from the Service may be used only by the developer to whom the API key was issued. This license is personal to that key holder and is non-transferable; you may not allow another developer, application, or organization to use data derived from your API key.
You agree not to use the Service to violate any law, infringe the rights of others, circumvent rate limits or access controls, or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms.
Some features require a paid subscription. Fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. Cancellations take effect as described at the time of cancellation.
The Service and all data are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Golf course data may contain errors and is subject to change.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GolfCourseAPI will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits or data, arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
